Game Rules
Euchre is a trick-taking card game for four players in two teams, using cards 9-Ace, where teams try to win three or more tricks (out of five) after naming a trump suit, with points awarded for fulfilling the contract or “euchring” opponents, and the first team to 10 points wins. Key rules involve following suit when possible, trump cards beating all others, the winner of a trick leading the next, and special rules for going “alone,” where a player plays without their partner for bonus points.
