There are multiple ways to contact the UW Theme team and to get help using the theme.

Before contacting the UW Theme team or WiscWeb Support, search the UW Theme Guides for help using the theme and WordPress. You can also check the Site Actions dashboard for actions identified for your site and instructions for resolving them.

WiscWeb Support
If your UW Theme site is hosted in the WiscWeb WordPress Service, please contact their team for help.
WiscWeb training and support
WiscWeb is UW–Madison’s free, managed WordPress hosting service for creating UW Theme 2.0 sites that meet campus minimum web requirements.
They offer WordPress training, extra plugins, one-on-one help, and monthly Lunch and Learns to help you build and manage your UW Theme 2.0 site.
Office Hours
Get 1:1 help designing and using UW Theme 2.0. Office hours are offered in partnership with the WiscWeb WordPress Service.
UW Theme mailing list
Stay to update with UW Theme releases and news by joining our mailing list.
Visit the UW Theme Users Google Group (requires NetID) and click Join Group. If you do not see this option, find the option to Ask to join group or Contact owners and managers to request access.

UW WordPress community
Join the UW–Madison WordPress Users Group in Microsoft Teams to connect with other WordPress site owners, managers, and developers across campus. Ask questions, share tips, learn best practices, and stay updated on UW Theme 2.0.
Campus WordPress developers can also request to join the Distributed WP Devs sub-channel by emailing the Digital Team in Strategic Communication. It’s a dedicated space to ask technical questions and collaborate on the theme.

Submit a new feature request, report bugs, or accessibility barriers to help improve UW Theme 2.0.
