Add jump links to a page

Jump links, also referred to as anchor links or page jumps, are links that move visitors directly to another section on the page. They can be helpful on longer, information-heavy pages because they allow visitors to quickly navigate to the sections that are most relevant to them instead of scrolling through the entire page.

When to use jump links
Consider using jump links when:
- A page contains several distinct sections of related information.
- Visitors may only need information from one or two sections of a longer page.
- You want to provide an overview of the page and make its sections easier to navigate.
In UW Theme 2.0, you may commonly see jump links used in a sidebar layout with the UW Group of Links block to provide a list of sections on a longer page.
Avoid adding jump links to short pages where visitors can already scan and navigate the content easily.
